Heh, the earliest I can remember was a 9600 bps modem - granted, I would have been about 8 at the time, given I'm only 21 now (17/6/84). Was enough for me - I loved playing with Gopher ;)

So sure, are we? ;) Actually depends on the location. I know that people from the USA do it that way, but the international standard is actually day first, then month. Admittedly, if you localise it to a English-speaking forum, I suppose there are usually more Americans (and Canadians? Do they do it that way too?) than other English-speakers about.

With things like where Americans defy the international standard, Canadians tend to go either way at complete random. Some people doing it like our neighbors, and others doing it the international way, and not because we choose one or the other. No, because we are shown both, and individual people usually grab at the one they see first.

Hey ho!

(I know I said I was off to bed in another thread, but came here instead! Wow, and that rhymes, neato! :D )

Ok, well, as for me, I am a very childish 23 (childish here at least, can just let my hair down - and yes, it is long enough for me to legitimatley say that! :D ) - seems like I'm a bit of an oldie here mind!

Was born on the 17th July, 1982, at about 6am, in my home-town (though not currant residence) of Scarborugh (thats Scarborough, North Yorkshire England, not the big suburb of Toronto (I think!), i.e. the original Scarborough  )

(Am therefore a Cancer star sign... not that that really matters!)

And I put day first then month, so 17/07/1982.
A Elbereth Gilthoniel!

Current supplies - 1 shiny wrapper from an eaten cookie, 1 squirrel teddy, 1 very-beloved-and-precious TF Gun, 4 cans of unlabelled soda, (2 minature catperson, 2 fairy), Brain bleach, brain glue, 1 rusty hacksaw, 1 red-stripy scarf! Huzzah!

Justin: Along the way they will face peril, and meet many, many handsome Elves.
Nanase: You are aware that there's no way Dan will let you narrate again after that, right?
Justin: Why? Elves are Cool!
(See here)

My characters: Serendipity, Serenity and Amaranthus! And my (bad) Fiction thread! And hardly used DeviantArt page!
