Clearly...we actually had four tracks...the slow track, the normal track, the honors track, and the year ahead track. Sounds like you were on the normal/honors track. ^_^

NY divides high school math up into Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry/Trig, and Pre-Calc, with an AP Calculus class thrown in as well. I skipped 8th grade math and went straight to Algebra I. Much the same way I skipped 8th grade science and went straight to Earth Science. (Earth Science, Bio, Chem, Physics, with AP classes in at least Bio and Physics). English and History were the ones with Honors classes. (Which I did do a little of. 9th grade Honors English and 9th and 10th grade Honors History.)

Same for me. I don't know how people can get on the slow track. Even I got on the normal track, and I literally sleep though everything.

I remember when I was in 8th grade, and we had to take placement tests to see where we would wind up in our freshman year math-wise; most (read: over 85%) of my class (including myself) wound up in the Concepts and Connections level of Algebra 1(not the full course, but slightly dumbed down), about three or four got into the regular class, one made honors, and one somehow got into the Fundamental level class. We all laughed at him.

How does maths related to my food question.
Unless the number in question is Pi. Or Pie charts. Or Donut charts. Or the 70% of a circle that is pac-man, because Pac-man has cherries.

There was a small group of us in...third grade I believe it was, or maybe second, whenever it was we started learning multiplication tables...that would get extra math problems during class because we were up to our twelves time tables already and were bored.

Book: We haven't even warped to lunch yet, why does it matter?

So, is lunch here like Air Gear or Bleach, where everyone brings their own food and all the heroes go eat on the roof?
The only defining characteristic between knowledge and belief is the point of view.
If making a story or RP is like baking cookies, then angst is the vanilla extract. You don't put any in, and the final product is bland, and tasteless. Put too much in, and it's bitter and gross. But if you use just the right amount, then you get something truly delicious.

Alright, I had an ingenious idea, which should be really fun to play: A kid who thinks he's a ninja, but really isn't. He tries, very hard indeed, but he fails. Should be especially fun in a game where ninjas and such do exist :P Although maybe he could learn the ninja art over time. If you were wondering, yes, this was inspired by Kirk from The Wotch. As for the role he fills, well, the only counterpart I can think of is Konohamaru from Naruto.

Name:
Age: 16, I guess. I'd rather he be more like 12, but what can I do?
Year: Um... first year?
Birth Date: January 1
Build: Short and slight.
Intelligence: A quick learner, but tends to do poorly because of not studying.
Clothing: He never wears normal clothes, for some reason. It's always black cargo pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves, shoes, and mask(covers up over his nose), a blue bandanna holding his hair up, and a blue sash around his waist.
Uniform Modifications: He wears his blue bandanna all the time, even in school.

Appearance: He's short and light, helping him to blend in with the shadows. Aside from his outfit of shadow-black and navy-blue, his eyes are a dark steel-gray, and his hair is jet-black. He always wears his bandanna, which keeps his sorta short hair sticking straight up. The small gap of the only skin showing - around his eyes, between the bandanna and the mask - he keeps covered in black paint, to make himself less visible.

Personality: Very ninja-like. He likes to try to surprise people, constantly ambushing them. It is his eternal goal to successfully ambush someone(whomever he's chasing at the time), and if he does, he'll gloat for a while and pick someone else to ambush. He's sneaky, and always thinks he's succeeding at ninja skills, but rarely does.

Abilities: "I have the power to think I can fly! Observe." *leaps forward as if taking off, faceplants into the floor* -Homeless Man, Who Wants to be a Superhero auditions.

He thinks he's a ninja. He isn't. Although, he does have the ability to learn any skill merely by watching someone using it, and usually reveals said skill when it would save the day and cause much frustration for him not having revealed it sooner. Incidentally, he tends to forget these skills right away, and has to learn them again.

History: Nothing special. Grew up as a little brother type, nobody ever really paid him much attention.

That's all I can think of at the moment, what do you think? I can elaborate if you want.

I'm assuming I can't make him younger then? He's the perfect little brother type.

EDIT: Waitaminute...I just realized I left his name blank. He's nameless! Hmm, a name...I'll pick one tomorrow, I gots to be off to bed.
