What happened here?? The comic has stopped, the forum is deserted, its rather creepy...
Ooooh, I see what you are doing, trying to use reverse-psychology on me. Of course, you might know that I would know it is reverse psychology, so really you could be using reverse-reverse-psychology......... which of course would be regular psychology...

I thought it was perhaps since the readership drive didn't turn out the way Scrubbo had expected added with the recent tragedies (including Anna Nicole's, I guess), that it meant there was no real point to continuing.
The same thing happened to Pet Professional when they went to their first convention and no one knew who they were. So the artist bailed and the writer was left with a lot of hacks and some really dumb dolphin plots.
You gotta merchandise, Scrubster. Pick a brand icon and sell it. Make t-shirts. Offer bribes. Sell at conventions without having a booth.
Speaking of Anna Nicole, Scrubbo, were you ever in line to be the father of her baby?
I have come here to chew bubble gum and to kill god; and I am all out of bubble gum.
Hm, I guess nobody gives a shit about Filthy Lies anymore. Well, scrubbo, they've all gone, the drama is over - you can start drawing again now! Please I really liked this comic. My life doesn't revolve around webcomics, but all the same, it brightened my day... Also, I confess to being slightly concerned for your wellbeing; you haven't fallen down a manhole or something, have you?
Jeez. Nothing for like 2 yeares now. And Keenspot has it listed as sporadic / on hiatis. I'd say it's dead. And that's a shame, cause this was the funniest web comic I ever saw.
The url error was because of GoDaddy mailing renewal notices to the wrong location, etc. Hopefully the site will be back soonish so we can all wallow in the archives. I haven't read the comic in over a year myself. I should go back, read it, get inspired, start to draw a new comic, and then realize my new daughter is crying and abandon all hope.
Seriously, though, I still love the comic. Life got in the way. But I'm working on getting the archives back at least.
