Project Natal

My first thought when watching the Project Natal video was that it was a preview for a new live action Jetson movie. That thing is seriously unbelievable, by which I mean there's no way anyone would believe that it was real in any way. The glamourous loving video-game-playing family was also hellishly creepy. What the fuck is this, Pleasantville?

That ad was like being visited by the Ghost of Shitty Television Pasts.

I like how Molyneux's speech about the limitation of many-buttoned controllers is the same stuff that Miyamoto was going on about four years ago. Not that the Wii is the greatest thing ever, but it's kind of impressive how far ahead of everyone else Nintendo was on that line of thinking.

Another interesting scene is the one in which the older brother watches his younger brother play some sort of Godzilla game. That's nothing like how it works in real life! The rule is that the older sibling always gets all of the turns whenever there are no parents in the room.
