I watched The Legend of Zorro on Monday night, and it started out with "AN historic moment" spelled out on the screen.

Ten minutes passed before I stopped looking for the Grammar Nazi.

I feel that I should stab you... :P Or at least hit you over the head with a 12" dildo. ;)

This is one of the most dropped grammar rules, and no-one that isn't an English teacher ever believes it:

An hospital; an historical event; an helicopter; an hotel; an hedgehog.

There are notable exceptions to this, but they've flown my mind at the moment, which is irritating... :P

....can only see anyone getting aware with it with a realy really thick cockney(sp?) accent.

An 'ospital, an 'edge'og, an 'elicopter, an 'istoric event.

Should probally be dressed all in black, have a face covered with soot, and run around with Mary Poppins....
