Man, no. His costume is SIMILAR, sure, but then again so was his original costume way back in his first appearance in The Hulk's comic. Remember that shit?
Anyhow his new costume's got way more blue. And the scratch things or whatever that shit is, is inverted so instead of them being blue (or black like they are coloured a lot) on the yellow costume it's yellow on blue, and hey I AM A FUCKING GEEK!

But who reads X-Men anymore?

I don't personally think the whole point of the comic was to draw an exact derpcounterfeits of Wolverine's costume... We all recognized it, and we all got the message. Wasn't that the point?

I do, and hence I know that his costume changes far too often, at least slightly, to worry about getting it exact in the strip. Besides, in the strip it was a toy...and the toys do tend to either a) date themselves because they aren't accurate for long, or b) take liberties to begin with.

Oh, and apologies for reviving this thread...I haven't been to the board in awhile, and like a knumbskull, I couldn't resist reading the thread with the BIG CAPITAL LETTERS in the title.
