It's not funny if it's in a theatre. It just sucks.

Second time I watched RotK (and thank God it was the second time, or it would've sucked even more...like it did for those people in the theatre for whom it was the first time), some moron decided to shout "Look out!" in a weird voice at the top of his lungs during the Shelob scene. Then his friends, which unfortunately were many, decided to crack up for the next ten minutes.

Filthy jerkses...they took it, they took my entertainment, precious...

Well I find it funny (the comic instance).. but then again I don't get out much...er I mean ever.

But, if it really happened to me, like in your instance, I'd be pissed and give them The Glare (tm)

Wrong, just wrong. But for some reason I can't stop laughing. Can't have anyting to do with the fact that I've done something similar though. Nope. Can't be that.

*giggles cause it is funny*

Yeah squiddy, I would give them more than a glare. I would be tempted to go find an usher, cause, now, that would be funny.

You didn't. . .

Well it's better then screaming at the top of your lungs "I DON'T BELIEVE IN FAIRIES!!!" at that point.

Love that... I'd be laughing for minutes. Not really fond of fey anyway.

But it could be worse, when my friends & I went to preview 'The Ring' at the end when the kid asks "What happens to those who see it?" my friends cell phone went off...

...the ringtone was "Shave & a Haircut"

Blew the mood of the entire film.

Adam, you're not alone. I think it's hilarious as well. My friends cell went off after we wathed it, but he just had a normal ring. Shave & a haircut though... Perfect. Espescially in a theater.

**snerk** I remember watching that movie (Peter Pan) in the theatre, and wondering what the hell that scene was about. My first thought when I read the comic was "jesus, why the hell didn't I think of that?"

You're a genius, Aeire.
There was a man who had a face that looked a lot like me
I saw him in the mirror and I fought him in the street
And when he turned away I shot him in the head
Then I came to realize that I had killed myself
