If you can't speak, then you dance.

*does the chicken dance*

Does it have lyrics in English? In French it's actually the Duck dance (la danse des canards) and it has about 5 really ridiculous verses and a chorus.

*ponders*

....if there are lyrics in English, they aren't well known. At least I've never heard them.

Aww, you got rid of the cute kitty avatar. What is this one? I've never seen this before, it looks like a logo of some sort.

This is the one I drew myself. Full meaning would take a while to work thru, but in short is a combonation of the celtic symbol for the element of fire, the egyptian all knowing Eye, and my longstanding nickname of BloodEye.
Is what I'm using for the logo of my webcomic, Early Crap.

You have a comic? Neat. When did this happen? :)

Yeah, I haven't had a lot of time to post and such. Nothing too interesting, just other things that take up my time recently.

Yup.

The ground thawing is making quite a mess of our roads, here; driving work feels pretty much like going 60 mph on an old, used dirt road. Hard for the shock absorbers.

Bleh. I actaully drive on an old dirt road.... not supposed to be dirt, but the gravel tends to wash away. Came real close to wreaking the car this morning. Came over the top of the hill and the way down was a mire of thick clumpy mud. I wasn't going real fast, but too fast to hit a patch like that. Just glad there wasn't a car comming the other direction, or could have been rather bad.

Eeps, glad you're okay.

We got a whole foot of snow here during the day. It came out of nowhere really, because it was getting warm and now we're back in winter... :(

Yeah, not a good road... but found it's worse to walk on... in the dark...

My car died on me, so ended up walking home. Was a bit after sunset, no moon, and overcast... very very dark out. Am just hoping the car isn't too expensive to repair.

I hope the snow has cleared up and the car gets fixed soon.

My life, spring is definitely here and I've been transferred, along with a lot of other people,[1] to different department at work.

My parents were supposed to move back here in Quebec (my father was transferred to Ontario five years ago), but he's being promoted... and sent to Kentucky. I don't know much about that state, aside from the fact that it's about 20 hours away. damn.

Accents

Postby Fleurdelys on Tue Apr 10, 2007 1:45 pm

I'm very bad at telling accents in English; for me there's basically a Southern and a Northern accent for Americans, Scottish and British for the UK, and an Australian accent. Think of it as you telling the difference between a Frenchman, a French Canadian from Quebec, another from New-Brunswick, and a Belgian... maybe a bit easier for me who understands English well.

Fair enough. Though in all honesty, I might have troubles recognizing the language as french, let alone what accent of french. Though suppose East and West German have a rough idea of what you mean.

Kentucky isn't too bad, at least Louisville wasn't when I visited it.

Cool then. I'm not complaining about the state, actually, I'm complaining about the fact it's far. :( They're not moving in Louiseville, though. Is Hopkinsville nice? :P And do all of the cities there end with "ville"?
