What about long walks in the corn rows? It's a jolly good time I tell yah. With all the cuts and scrapes from the corn leaves, sinking into the mud on a rainy day, the bugs....Oh the joy! Come join me!

Hi, I'm Dan. Only on here because the wonderful Gav #n, where n was around 4.5 million, let me on.

Well, fine, the comic is good too. And I wouldn't have asked for my account to be activated if I weren't going to post for any reason.
It's a bird...it's a plane...No, it's definitely a bird. Hey, wait a second. It looks kind of silvery. Like a goose.

Squiddy, I only go through corn rows if I'm chasing malfunctioning robots, otherwise I would say yes. But I do walk along river banks through large mosquito swarms.

Damned, every time I've ever looked at your username, you make me think of Young Frankenstein.

And now all the whatnot with the corn rows is making me think of Children of the Corn.

Needless to say, the meshing of these movies is creating something very...interesting...in my mind.

I saw him in the mirror and I fought him in the street

I'm Bunner. Obviously.

I came from xForums (really late, cause apparently a mass-migration can happen under my nose without me even noticing..). I WAS Monkeyboy, but apparently someone over here already took that name (expect attack sheep in your mail box soon) so I had to go with one of my other names.

Well, I'm an atheist, so it seems I'll be going to hell anyway, if such a place exists. Might as well make the trip worth it. **gets fucked**.

Postby James LiGate on Fri Feb 06, 2004 1:53 pm

Here's yet another introduction, along with a somewhat belated welcome to Keenspot for QoW.

The name's James; I'm in central Virginia, US. I've followed a number of Keen Webcomics for quite some time and joined the forums a while back, but haven't been terribly vocal.

I participated in WCA last year along with Aeire and thought I'd checked out all the participants last Cinco de Mayo, but somehow must have missed QoW. Several of us were recently thrashing leetspeak and "ur hot asl" grammar on another forum and somehow (personally I think it was fate), I stumbled across the current Grammar Nazi strip, which I promptly linked from the discussion thread. Intrigued, I started reading the QoW archives, and at this point all I can say is...

Well, "Thank you." Just... "Thank you." A very nice mix of humor and angst, well-delivered. I literally got weepy during the flashback (nested flashbacks, gah, stack overflow...), and I also actually laughed out loud at a few strips (and smirked at MANY many others, which is my more typical reaction to what I consider a good comic).

I think you've just snagged another regular reader.

Appeciatively,
James

Intro

Postby LemonyFreshEvil on Fri Feb 06, 2004 9:17 pm

Hello,

I'm Lemony Fresh Evil... a not too recent convert to QoW. It was a friend who pointed me this way & said "I think you'll like this."

Been reading ever since.

Not much else to say, yet.

Just say whatever pops into your head.

Especially if it's "waffle".

Just, um...because. Yes...waffle!

In all seriousness, welcome to you folk I don't know. May you find the forums at least somewhat as insane...er, cool...as the Goddess Aeire's wonderful comic.

Hi. I'm RadioEyes, known as Pattie to those outside the glowy computer world. Been reading the comic for a month, approximately, ever since I got incredibly bored on winter vacation and read the entire archive at once. I enjoy the comic immensely, and enjoy spamming my friends with links to it. I usually post over in Sinfest, but you all seem fun, so I'll be over here a bit, I'm sure.

Waffle.
