So much for eldritch horrors from beyond the galaxy (7/5/13)

They're surprisingly civil.

It seems the species from beyond the wormholes is more or less identical to the species of the Void Archangel.

I think you kind of waste the potential of a species coming through a wormhole if they're basically no different from anyone else.

Plus, apparently this astronomic research project was too busy looking for the star power to notice the ninth wormhole has been open for some time.

The whole "I, (name), will CONQUER THE WORLD" bit is so cliche. It's so cliche that even making fun of it is cliche.

..Has he always written that way?
I mean, with the undying need to let everyone know hoe the character is, even though we could possibly find out their name much later in the story without it sounding stupid and terrible?

I mean, couldn't this character have shown up somewhere else and the protags go "oh shit its such and such" instead of having it explained instantly, and have a possibility of intrigue lost?
Has it truly always been this bad and hammy?

Doesn’t she just ooze good old-fashion crazy supervillianry?

And that’s the end of chapter 1! We hope you guys have enjoyed it. We’re going to take a quick two week break while you digest that first bit, and we get the finishing touches polished up on Chapter 2. New comic pages will resume on the 22nd. In the mean time, I hope you guys will enjoy some of the bonus content we’ve pulled together. See you guys soon!

They are glorifying in it. That says enough.

Ohhhh, and this is why the pacing has been so god damn awful!

And so we come to the end of our first “issue” today! We hope you folks have enjoyed it!

Each chapter in a storyline is going to be 24 comics long, just like a traditional comic book. We’re planning on having five chapters per storyline, but that could change in the future.

Stupidity has its own infinite continuum, from bordering on the brain dead to just shy of normal.
