Ok so I did see what I thought I saw. I'm sick so I thought I misread the comic. Actually, it's not bad, short and to the point. Frankly I've been expecting a blind seer for a while now. Overall? Good on you Mookie, this time, do try to keep it going from here and improve.

If that is the case, I think the real moral is:You cannot look upon eternal paradise until you reach it yourself, to do so is to forfeit ever being able to see again... but that might just be a bit too deep and profound for Mookie. But who knows, maybe that is the case.

The cool thing is that similar to Asscreed II Luana can be long dead and be looking like a total loonie talking to someone not there and Dominic having a vision about her having a vision of Dominic, making communication possible.

Another possibility: she has gazed upon the ultimate truth, and having seen the truth of all that is, she no longer requires her eyesight. Knowing this, the universe blinded her.
