Okay, this was a pretty cool way to do this, at least in my opinion. The Archmages seeming increasingly sinister is one of the plot points Mookie seems to be doing well, this time around.

I agree. It's pretty clever. I hate it when he does that.

...I can't tell. Did Mookie just do something right? Or is my sleep deprived state confusing me?
Brett:Yeah? How about I break your face instead?!
Rachel:I invite you to try, Taggerty.
KRAK
Brett:AAAAAGGH!
Rachel:I break things with my face.

He's an uncontrollable arachnophobic cyborg on the edge. She's a provocative impetuous detective in the wrong place at the wrong time. They fight crime!

I liked it, but I don't hate everything in the comic the way the most of you seem to.

Oh yeah, there's a plot. KInda forgot that due to the filler crap he's been spewing for the past two months.

Honestly, I didn't like it. He wants to pair these couples off and it's coming off badly.

It's us.

We're the unknowable evil monsters.

Watching.

Always watching.

The third panel looks like the eyestalks are about to throw a surprise party.

I like how this time something is sticking. Jayden and Lord Furry Pants are staying broken up. That combined with the eyestalk border, I have to say, this strip is actually good. Good work Mookie.

So... I'm the only one fine with the snuggling going on between the two? So they go from devestating eachother to "Lol, we're all cool. Snugs!"?

Well you have to take the bad with the good. And most of this comic is good, so I'm willing to put it in the victory pile.

Not me, I don't like how he's handling Jayden and Milov. It was done ok when they broke up, but now Milov knows that she cheated on him with his best friend at the time and now he's acting like this can be just water under the bridge. Putting personal things aside for the sake of the world is one thing. But having been cheated on, and it wasn't with anyone I knew, I wouldn't want to actually touch Jayden with a ten-foot pole.

Plus, going back to Mookie Stunt saying that Jayden was blameless for everything, it's just Mookie wanting us to like the characters he likes and hate the ones he hates.

There will always be snouts.

Horrible, horrible snouts.
