...the King doesn't have the power to like... control the press or something. That'd be inconvient to the plot.

The always level headed Xejan wanting to kill the President of the United States.

Stasis: A state of stability, in which all forces are equal and opposing, therefore they cancel out each other.

Kind of messed up when you decide to put the champion of Chaos in such a spell.

And Dominic is in a dress?

I've seen one of those, before, it was an African dress, but the name escapes me.

But, my god, he's trying to make Dominic multicultural.

Next, Luna will show up in a Russian fur hat!

And yeah, the King controlling the newspapers, nooooooooooo, that could never happen. All journalists and editors have integrity in this universe.

Oh, and resistance to mind-control, too.

And no families to threaten at all.

Unless the line reads:

' King David Johann Connected to attacks? Makes claim of idiot seer with one leg attempting to frame him.'

I don't know if Mookie realized this or not (he probably did), but he totally made a Princess Bride reference in the first panel. Nice Princess Bride reference!
"I am a monkey, Mr. Anderson."

You just took everything good out of Celesto, Mookie. Just as you did with Jacob, Karnak, the battlecasters, and every character you've ever made except TIM. I hope you're happy.

Hmm? Jacob?

Did I miss something? How was Jacob ruined?

Getting his ass easily handed to him by that one orc chief, copping out of his necromancy research, and doing a heel-face turn for no viable reason in March across Maltak.

Easily?

There were only two pages there, but I bet we missed a bit of a fight, the chief is missing most of his clothing and has two pretty deep scratches on his chest.

Plus, he'd just been hit by the Hukthak's staff, and it seemed to be healing him, which is like pretty high-level drain in DnD terms. (I.E. his self-mutilations were being repaired, so that's a hefty power-down.)

And by now, the chief is riding high on the Nakta, and was powerful to take on the Bikta chief, who had been leeching off an orc witch and Luna. So he was powerful then himself.

Copping out on his research? Far from it.

He succeeded!

When the land was feeding the dead souls back into itself, he took his own soul, Adrak's and Luna's soul, and placed it back into their own bodies.

He literally took them out of the cycle of renewal that had the force of an entire land behind it.

He died and returned to life.

Epic win for a Necromancer.

And what heel-face turn?

He just indebted Dominic and Luna to him for a good bit.
