If you have read the NEWS for 07/02/10 you have likely to have realized that Zebra Girl community is going to blow this joint that we call Keenspot and join to the greener fields of 910CMX. I believe that this was Stingra's suggestion, so we all owe him a pat on the back for the hint.

This will be a sad to leave this place, but I think it will be for the best, though I am going to miss my large post count. I'm very tempted to take few good threads with me to our new home, but I'll have to check our new moderators (oh me gosh! We're gonna have moderators!) if they'll allow me to dump almost 1000 posts (mainly from the science debate thread) to our new place.

So pack your backs, my fellow zebramites! It's time to walk out from that door and gods help anyone who dares to looks back!

While I can't rightly leave here as I am bound to the Mayhem forums, I suppose if it's for Joe and for Zebra Girl I could visit often. The 910CMX forums is after all a nice place to visit and is chock full of kind folks, but I couldn't live there. On the plus side, the Zebra Girl forums will most likely see a large in flux of newbies and activity once the transition occurs. You'll probably have to set up a newbie thread with an industrial furnace just to keep up with all the burnings that will be required. Overall I think this will be a good move for ZG. Happy trails yall.

You should be able to. I made mine early yesterday and could mess with it early on. The little drop down menu in the upper right that lets you click to your profile, go to my settings. From there it should be fairly simple to change you profile around :/
I'm not sure why you'd be having trouble...

Shorty, are you trying to "Edit my profile" (or the Profile tab under "Your options") and getting an error like:

[#1026] You are not permitted to modify all or some of your profile information.

When I look at my "About me" tab, it just says "This user has not configured their 'About Me' page and has not added a signature to their account yet." I'm guessing I get there though "Edit my profile?"

I thought maybe my account needed more time to be approved or something. Or that I needed to make a certain number of posts before I could do something, but I haven't looked into that yet.

EDIT: I also can't reply to topics or make new topics even though I'm logged in. So much for the second theory.
EDIT2: Looks like theory 1 was right. Thanks, Briareos! I'll be watching for it.

So since I'm actually banned from that community (over a huge misunderstanding), if you guys don't like it there feel free to come join my forum. I've been picking up various people since the Fall of the RPG World forums and the three great Deegan Migrations so it's an alternative. Not a ver good one, ut hey, options are nice.

Kinda hard to believe the time to completely abandon Keenspot is almost here. Been here for six years, I guess it was a good run.
