Halloween costume! (Late)

I gave myself the whole month of October to do this, but I still didn't quite finish in time for Halloween. These pictures were taken November 11.

Meet Sam Sprinkles (TM).



It's a cardboard mask, with cotton and fur fabric glued to it. Black and white face paint around the eyes. I would have been done with it sooner, but I spent the first two weeks of October making Sam's legs.

No, the legs aren't done.

But by next year, the whole thing will look GREAT.

Last year, I tried my hand at a Sam Sprinkles costume. I felt it was kind of half-assed. But this year, I'm a complete ass.

...wait a minute, that doesn't sound right...

No, I don't intend to do the same thing every year. I just wanted to try to do the legs. Hopefully I'll be able to use what I've learned for future costumes.

That really is fantastic work, Billy. I have to take a moment to commend you. It's eerie, really... if earlier anyone had told me there'd be a Sam Sprinkles costume made, I'd have bet good money it would have turned out stupid. And then I'd have lost my good money, because there it is and it's not stupid at all. And good money's the best kind! In fact, hey, I think I'll mention this on the front page, if you don't mind. People should see this.
