I lurk around these parts, but spend a good bit of time in the pub, and on various other keenspot forums. I must of course make the obligatory "I'm so ugly dont look..." comment, but no one ever listens.

Me and the Captain, making it happen since the 1980's.

Oh and to all of those that LARP, do you play as part of a larger organization or is it just your local troupe? I have a Caitiff vampire in the Camarilla Fanclub org, and two werewolves with One World By Night (OWBN), a Shadowlord and an Uktena.

OWBN and Cam allow me to play my PC's at any other game in the org, and they have games worldwide. I only actually play in the four local games, but to play the same characters in multiple games allows me more time to roleplay my favorite characters.

Offtopic:

I am no Organization member in a Larp. Germany has those tho, but 99% play cross country with their characters on any convention without beeing organisated. Pure Anarchy ;o), but it functions wonderful.

In Fantasy Larp, there are 3 or 4 loose organisations, one or two with "closed worlds" with no possible character transfer... even innereuropean cross-border character movement is possible without problems (except to "closed world" organisations and their conventions). Multiworld-Local Rules Concept.

Me from a few years ago. This was taken in a photo booth at Astro World. I love photo booths. This isn't even the best picture! :D

The girl with me is an old girlfriend, the same one in the Pub's S&G thread. ;)

Those of you who may have recognized this shot from over in the questionablecontent forums, yep, it's me, lost in storm. Had to leave, since well, Jacques is a petulant little child; my Photoshop thread's 7K-plus-view count a buh-bye gift. Here people and things are waaaaay better, not surprisingly. :)

No baskethead!!! ;)

That's an awesome picture, Kinako! Nice to finally see you. You have a wonderful smile. And are those dimples?

Nice to see all you guys! We have a great looking bunch of folks here!

Stalker, I am soooo amused that you look so much like the gentleman on the rum bottle! Amazing how features are passed down.

Preypacer, very nice. You have better hair than me!

Again, what a bunch of handsome fellows!!

Well I'm late to the show, but lets just say that I go to some medieval fairs, and get mistaken quite a lot with the people who work there, which to me is quite fine :)

BTW I'm about 15 lbs lighter now than what is in that picture :) Also I'm a lurker, but enjoy the comic a lot myself...

And yes if people can sort of guess where I go to the fairs I go to King Richard's faire :)

Ooooo! Fun! So you'd be a good one to tell me how to act at the Ren Faire as a peasant next weekend??

*puppy dog eyes*

Awesome costume!

Gives the lurker a cookie.

Well are you dressing up as one of the local wenches?

And if you are dressing up as a peasant, all I can say is that you'd have to learn a little bit of humility, for the serifs were never allowed to look directly at a lord or lady. They were never allowed to make eye contact and like the military you were always expected to give a "Yes M'lord" or "Yes M'lady", or "Yes Sire", or "Yes Mistress" Type of deal... it mattered upon their ranking, and thier ego ;)

If you are going on as one of the wenches you might be able to get away with a wee bit more vulgarity and crass towards a lord, but not much... hehe...

And thanks for the compliment, I spent about $1500 to $2000 on the costume, that was after I won $10,000 on a scratch ticket.

Nearly falls off her chair laughing at the thought of herself as a wench.

Yeah, that'd not go over well. Humility? That I can handle. Vulgar and crass? Not on your life.

$10,000 on a scratch ticket? :o Whoa.

That's odd - when I think "zaftig" or "Rubenesque" I think of "obese," which I would say Frisby DEFINITELY does NOT look to me. She is, rather, extremely cute.

Yeah it was one of my larger winnings :) I tend to win more money on scratch tickets than I actually make working... scary ain't it?
