A New Thread! \(^o^)/

Postby Kaichi on Tue Dec 16, 2003 10:12 pm

This thread exists only to prove to Cars that, yes, someone CAN indeed start a new thread.

However, since I have absolutely nothing to talk about, other than the fact that a reader sent me a HUGE cache of chocolate and I am, as a result, higher than a Sprite on helium, this new thread is hereby about Nothing in Particular.

Btw...something I've been wondering (just because what ELSE can you do besides wonder exquisitely silly things, when your brain is overcharged on serotonin?!) is this: do Sprites have eyelids?!?

(O.o)

Ok. I'll go to bed, now...if the blankets can hold me down. hehehe

:D Starting a new thread with nothing to say! You've inspired me to go out on a limb and start my first poll with nothing to poll.

Well, I came up with a poll question, after all. But you better not take it, Kai!!! You already know the answer!

*locks Kai in a glass booth*

And sprites have eyelids. The sprite would tell you himslef, but he's too lazy to login to the forum this morning. :P

**bangs frantically on the glass booth's walls, in full panic**

HEELLLLP!! Lemme outta here!! I'm closetphobic!! (O.o);;

No point in locking me in here, anyhow, since EVERYONE who is ANYONE knows that your real name is Engelbert Pumpernickel.

Well...ISN'T it? (^-^)

**dodges the cascade of pickled herring which falls through a trap door in the top of the glass booth**

hehehe

By any chance would that herring happen to be of the red coloured variety?

"I told you to never say that name to in this house!"
"Humperdinck, Humperdinck, Humperdinck, Humperdinck, Humperdinck!"

I love the Princess Bride. The book was so good.

And of course sprites have eyelids. I've seen them blink.

God, I think I can quote almost all of that movie!

"Inconceivable!!!"

"You keepa using that word and I dunna think it means wha you think it means!"

"I'm not left-handed either!"

"Have fun storming the castle!"

"Rodents Of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist."

Hehehehehe!
The moment is near when, by a procedure of active paranoic thought, it will be possible to systematize confusion and contribute to the total discrediting of the world of reality.

hehehe Actually, no, there is no story behind that one. Maybe there's one or two in its soft, round belly, though. Or, failing that, I could make up a story for it, real quick. **poises in writer mode, just in case he is called upon to imaginate on short notice-like** (~-^)

Do the red ones smell any better than the others? Because if they don't, I don't suppose it would matter what color it was. It's funny; I've seen lots of red herrings, before, but never managed to notice how they smelled. Therefore, based equally upon my total lack of scientific evidence and my inherent wackyness, I proclaim that red herrings must smell nice. Or they at least don't stink.

Well, I was going to go into a long string of arguments about how all fish smell, a herring is a fish, and therefore a red herring must also be a fish and therefore smell, but then I was able to find a counter example.
A red saphire is a ruby. Therefore (based on letter count, because letters are all that count) a red herring must be a bird. Not all birds smell, so it's possible that a red herring does not smell, although I could be wrong.

Except you misspelled sapphire, so your theory doesn't match up.

Youse guys shouldn't make jokes like that, just for the halibut. You could give someone a haddock!

**Kaichi, the guy who once successfully punned with the word, "Botswana," stops himself, right there, before he fills up a huge post with fish puns and causes everyone to flee in terror**
