In RACS, worse than pointless flamey threads would go on for weeks on end, as people battled over whether some bit of comic stripety info was "on topic" or not. Heck, my pal Jim Alexander got flamed for posting a query about comic strip demographics in that "comic strip" newsgroup. (Comic strip demographics being off topic for a group that considered it's more pressing issue to be Luann's evolving hairstyle)
I speak here not as the guy in charge, but as just another poster, just voicing my laissez-faire attitude on the situation.![]()
(and even here, I only say this for the reason that it allows me to say "laissez-faire" and sound like a big shot)

But if I was changed into a Smurf, I would have been another Smurfette, which would have put off the delicate balance of Smurfettes, and the Smurfs would have ceased to exist due to this imbalance. At least I think so...
