My first reaction: ROFL!

My second reaction: Wait... YWNK made me rofl? That's a first. You really are getting better at this.

Mewthario, your latest one reminds me of the Killer Susan slayline from a while back.

Stepping clear of the political debate, what I was poking fun of there was Goodkind's tendency to write whole books in which maybe five pages actually mattered to the overall story.

Seriously, you can skip Soul of the Fire, Pillars of Creation and Naked Empire at least without more than the occasional 'huh?' (I actually did skip Naked Empire and I don't think I've missed anything important - I'd actually stopped reading the series entirely when I realised Pillars was yet another book in which nothing happened until I found Chainfire in a bargain bin. Might even work better that way with the amnesia plot...)

One might even skip Temple of the Winds - for something that was built up in earlier books, what actually happened there was a bit of a fizzle. (Yay, he used it to solve a problem that only appeared in that book, than left with nothing to show for it!)
"The conflict is not between Christianity and Islam or between East and West - instead, it is between stupid people and other stupid people." - Terry Pratchett

AKA Stellar_Dragon (lost when an attempt to change the linked email address went wrong) and Stardrake (obliterated in the Great Keenspot Crash of '03).

People who are fed up with unreadably small font may wish to look here. For those who POST such text, however, this is not an excuse. Surely 6-pt gets the point across without requiring shenanigans to read?

it's "become". I can read it fairly clearly, actually. though the font is a bit strange. kind of plays tricks on your eyes.

It helps if you've seen the original Face-Off poster. I'm frankly suprised I still remember it.

Ok, so maybe I've been watching a little too much Mythbusters lately.

OBJECTION!!!

Such a thing is impossible!
MARTIN: What?
DANIEL: Okay. One, that's Star Trek; and two, it's ridiculous.
MARTIN: What's wrong with it?
CARTER: "The singularity is about to explode?"
MARTIN: Yes.
CARTER: Everything about that statement is wrong.
DANIEL: How exactly is having weapons at maximum going to help the situation?
MARTIN: The audience isn't going to know the difference. They love: "weapons at maximum."
MITCHELL: Never underestimate your audience. They're generally sensitive, intelligent people who respond positively to quality entertainment.
TEAL’C: I do not understand why everything in this script must inevitably explode.
MARTIN: Look, you guys may all know how things really work out there in the galaxy, but I know the film business. Explosions make great trailers. Simple fact. More explosions, better trailer. Better trailer, more viewers.

I have discovered that Death Note + Lucky Star = awsome.
Here's more proof.

Only in a universe in which Mythbusters is shown would such a thing be impossible.

In other news, will there be strip slaying over in the other place?

Well I didn't see any rules against it. If you gotta strip you want to slay why not go and make the topic.

We gather at the Keenspot strip slaying forum to say farewell. EGS Strip Slaying Senior will surely be missed. EGS.S.S.S. was a wonderful forum who passed the time for many people around the world, and gave comedians a chance to share their ideas. EGS.S.S.S. started many meme's, such as Justin's "WTF is Justin saying" Meme. We will all surely miss EGS.S.S.S.
