Like I said, next thing out is an EGS one and not only that, it's a SEXY EGS one. Here are the end products

I have PSD's of the wallpaper saved, so if you want one to a different aspect ratio or with one particular character solo or something, ping me and I'll whip it up no problem. For those of you interested in photoshop for art, I also took WIP shots of this for a friend and I've turned them into a tutorial on how I get a pic done:

(too big to fit easily on the forums). I hope you enjoy this'un, I loved drawing it, and the girls really do look red hot in plugsuits (for those of you who are really behind the times, the uniforms and logo are from Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Verrah nice!

Of course, with three strong personalities like that, NGEGS would be a very different story indeed...

If Grace really was Shinji there would be a lot less moping.
The book is almost always better than the movie. You could have no better case in point than FROM HELL, Alan Moore's best graphic novel to date, brilliantly illustrated by Eddie Campbell. It's hard to describe just how much better the book is. It's like, "If the movie was an episode of Battlestar Galactica with a guest appearance by the Smurfs and everyone spoke Dutch, the graphic novel is Citizen Kane with added sex scenes and music by your favourite ten bands and everyone in the world you ever hated dies at the end." That's how much better it is. - Warren Ellis.

WOO!!! my first personally caused bunny OS crash! I feel fulfilled :P

As for the choices, well, Nanase seems to be the one who would Mimic Asuka in a fight, susan has always been the Rei of the story, though a slightly less distant one (humorless and withdrawn- sorta) and while Grace isn't anything like shinji, she IS the character who suffers from foetal-ballerising self esteem issues from time to time, or at least did once or twice, Besides no one else was small or girly enough to fit in shinji's plugsuit :P (as an aside, I find it hilarious thinking how he'd react next time he put the suit on after grace had worn it, sexually frustrated and naieve as he is. I can almost hear is brain snapping from here... :P

Something for ANZAC day, a bit of a meditative piece and a little more serious and sketchy than normal. Associated poem is over at my Devart account.

well, there's a little announcement to make. After muchly neglecting my warhammer roots recently, a little side project I started but never really got into has returned

Image

For those of you who are 40k buffs, you should be able to recognize Russ, Horus and Sanguinius in that pic. For those of you who aren't, GIFSCS (galactic institue for socially challenged superhumans) is a parody based on warhammer 40k. The primarchs are legendary superhumans created to unite humanity and lead the warriors of mankind to victory. In the canon, they were scattered throughout space as infants and matured on different planets before being reunited. This comic is a parody of said characters, imagining what would happen if they had not undergone the scattering and had grown up together...

I recognised Sanguinius, but not Russ and Horus.

Shouldn't Russ have more of a Viking thing going on?

However, looking at it in more detail, I feel stupid for missing the Legion symbols. And Leman's fangs. And the wolf pelt on his hood.

He grew up on Fenris, hence the whole Viking thing. But on Terra I doubt he'd encounter anything like that.

Can't wait to see the rest. Especially Fulgrim, he's a favourite of mine.

I think he'd be a Marge Simpson style pessimist who will invariably be proved right, yet never liked by the audience because he nags too much. But that's just me.

I'd also love to see Konrad Curze, Mortarion and Perturabo.

I like bad guys, OK?
