Just drawn a pic of Susan with a cat-sized dragon...inspired by a recent comic reaction thread

Susan's hair looks too wide for her head. Other than that, not bad. I'd forgotten what Susan looked like not drawn in Dan's style.
The book is almost always better than the movie. You could have no better case in point than FROM HELL, Alan Moore's best graphic novel to date, brilliantly illustrated by Eddie Campbell. It's hard to describe just how much better the book is. It's like, "If the movie was an episode of Battlestar Galactica with a guest appearance by the Smurfs and everyone spoke Dutch, the graphic novel is Citizen Kane with added sex scenes and music by your favourite ten bands and everyone in the world you ever hated dies at the end." That's how much better it is. - Warren Ellis.

Shoulders are a little too broad. I'm not normally a fanart critic, but this is Susan. :p

Har har, I had an influence on someone. :P

Nice art. I agree about the face, but that may just be the difference between the styles.

Thanks for the feedback. It appears to be harder to draw characters belonging to someone else, than it is to draw your own...

@Ineluki: Haha, yeah. I thought about including an annoyed Jeremy in there, but decided not to for now. Maybe version two.

Just one more thing: her shirt looks a little flat. Like she's wearing one black and blue shirt instead of a black one with a blue one on top.

Looks good. The face, in particular, looks great and the dragon looks cute.

On the looks like one shirt issue: Maybe you could try not continuing lines from the different pieces of clothing?

Cute, but the face looks flat. I think it's because you put detail of sinews and collarbone on the neck, but not much detail on the face.

She seems too . . . content with the dragon there.

She managed to get on good terms with Jeremy. A dragon would be easy.

Your mistake is in assuming that isn't Jeremy to begin with.
"The conflict is not between Christianity and Islam or between East and West - instead, it is between stupid people and other stupid people." - Terry Pratchett

AKA Stellar_Dragon (lost when an attempt to change the linked email address went wrong) and Stardrake (obliterated in the Great Keenspot Crash of '03).

People who are fed up with unreadably small font may wish to look here. For those who POST such text, however, this is not an excuse. Surely 6-pt gets the point across without requiring shenanigans to read?

Don't think that hadn't crossed my mind. But then I thought: nah, who'd want to transform Jeremy? He already has his ultimate form!
(And probably wouldn't be able to satisfy his catnip addiction in dragon form ;))

I can't remember having yet seen Susan looking simply content, as she is here.
