Those glasses must not be very effective at making Tedd look more manly if people were still thinking of him as a little girl. I wonder just how girly his voice sounded before he hit puberty. I think I recall reading somewhere that Tedd's voice was also supposed to be a bit adrogynous, so I can't imagine it was any better when he was young. And considering most girls haven't started developing yet at tha age either you probably could have stuck Lil' Tedd in a dress and people would have had to take his word for it that he was a boy. Still, while Tedd's image might have been more or less the same it's interesting what Elliot was like back then. Skull t-shirt, messy hair, foul mouth... he was quite the little hellraiser when he was young, wasn't he?

Anyway, on a different topic I wonder what the big deal with Tedd's X-ray glasses is. Providing they work kinda similar to actuall X-rays it's not like he would have ever seen anything perverted with them, Just people's skeletons, which I think a little boy might actually find pretty cool, and whatever dense objects they happened to carrying at the time (which unlesss I'm mistaken was kinda the point). Maybe he mentions he hasn't used it or got rid of it because people get the wrong impression. That or the glasses are magic and allow the wearer to see everybody without their clothes.

Regarding the glasses, I seriously doubt they function on the same principle as actual x-ray cameras. More likely, they, like the gun, are yet another example of applied phlebotinum. I wouldn't be surprised if they draw upon that energy that totally isn't magic, as well.

Er... wait. I forgot your analyses aren't serious. But my point stands. :P

The glasses probably use an early version of backscatter x-rays.

Chronos: Judging by the was Tedd was acting, I'm guessing he's using the term "X-Ray" in the "see through stuff" sense, instead of the scientific sense. I mean, seeing people's bones and any metal objects they might have isn't worth getting that excited over unless you're looking for hidden weapons or something.
