Gee, Greg may complain about Elliot and Nanase scaring off a potential student but he isn't really any better. I mean, just look at Sarah there. She absolutely terrified. I can't say I really blame her though. He suddenly appears behind her, starts giving her orders in what was not likely a friendly tone of voice given the size and thickness of the font, and I'm guessing his echoing her nervous laughter in the last panel also did not come across in a nice, "Welcome to the dojo!" manner.

On a completely different subject... Nee?

Did Sarah have her own version of "Za?" that got dropped early on or something? That's what that looks like anyway. It's kind of a shame really, as while constantly repeated catchphrases can get annoying it is kinda nice to see a bit in the way of unique character expressions.

[add mustard]Would the "nee" and "za" have been worse if the'd become verbal tics or are they worse disappeared? Maybe I should go through the archives and imagine it...[/add mustard]

Melvar, are you just looking for an excuse to reread the entire EGS archive?

Totally understandable.

I do, in fact, need an excuse to do that, because I have too little time between other webcomics, especially reading the archives of the classics, a browsergame, an MMORPG, school, and various other stuff.

Chronos: A devious excuse to have people go barefoot! Well, actually, he probably just doesn't want his mat damaged.

Not to mention his orders are to take off her shoes, which technically are articles of clothing...

I don't know, but I like it - it sounds cute.
