Wow, not only is Nanase's hair defying gravity, but her belt is too! As much as I hate to say it, I believe the hair fairies have met their match.

Or maybe it's just that Nanase's connection with the fairy form allows her to call on many for use in such displays.

I think this falls under "dramatic wind from below" - was that invented for Marilyn Monroe or is it older than that?

I just love Greg's expression in that strip.

Yeah, it's great when he looks like he's having an orgasm and a heart attack at the same time.

Even if Marilyn wasn't the first to do it she certainly made it iconic.

Marilyn's wasn't dramatic anyway, it was...I don't know. Fanservice doesn't quite seem right, but it's the closest fit.

The Marilyn one is wind, while the standard "stuff rises as someone/thing powers up" is more of an antigravity effect (at least that's what I'd assume).

Chronos: Ki users, huh? Yep, this dojo stacks up with the Anime ones! (And it's interesting Nanase's hair is raising like that - I almost expect it to go spiky. Are we sure she's not half saiyan?)
