Poor Greg. Try as he might it will never be possible for him to go "Super" due to one tiny detail. He is not Saiyan. Not to say that he could not become truly mighty indeed, but he shall never be able to accomplish golden spiky hair by focusing his ki no matter how hard he tries.

Unless he were to simply use one of his school's illusion techniques, but that just seems like it would miss the point.

With the benefit of hindsight, Greg is clearly juuuust this side of awakening. If he ever does awaken, you KNOW his first spells will emulate anime transformations and powers.

Maybe he already has awakened, and his "spell book" takes the form of the anime he watches. He gains inspiration/information from the DVDs, and develops a new spell afterward.

I'd say Greg isn't so much fully awakened, as "dreaming", if either of these terms truly apply. Perhaps there is other terminology, applying to the martial arts, which apply more correctly.

If he hasn't yet awakened, it will be a site to behold when he does.

== Spring, 2006 ==

Chronos: Yeah, the fact that you're not a Saiyan might be a bit of an obstacle to going Super Saiyen...

And I suppose Greg and Carrottop could be rivals in the hair department...
