Come on, two days of no art whatsoever followed by the same transformation used earlier? I think this is why April Fools shenanigans are nice if made in small doses but should not be extended to a full week. Unless it's something like the AF04 NP storyline. That was awesome. We need more of that.

Oh, and I don't care what the sound effect says in the second panel, poofs cannot possibly be dramatic. The mere act of poofing is anti-dramatic.

Unless Light Yagami did it. Everything Light does is epic. :P

No, I'm afraid that while Light can even make eating a potato chip awesome, he could not do it to a poof. It's just not possible.

ah, the only time we saw squirrel-Sarah & -Elliot.
Also, the old hight differences are funny, Grace being even bigger than Elliot.
I somewhat remember Dan telling he consciously decided to remedy that, right? *ponders*

While a poof can indeed not be dramatic, it opens the possibility of letting the smoke clear dramatically, having someone step out of the cloud dramatically, and perhaps a few other dramatic things.

== Spring, 2006 ==

Chronos: Okay, now can we get back to the story?

== Nov, 2008 ==

Crystal: I like the look of the gang all squirrel-ized together.

I figure Dan was simply milking the schtick for all it was worth. *Dramatic Poof!*

Huh. I guess I'm going to need a lot of shampoo and conditioner now. And a new wardrobe.
