Eyes!!! Creepy floating eyes!! :shifty:
MARTIN: What?
DANIEL: Okay. One, that's Star Trek; and two, it's ridiculous.
MARTIN: What's wrong with it?
CARTER: "The singularity is about to explode?"
MARTIN: Yes.
CARTER: Everything about that statement is wrong.
DANIEL: How exactly is having weapons at maximum going to help the situation?
MARTIN: The audience isn't going to know the difference. They love: "weapons at maximum."
MITCHELL: Never underestimate your audience. They're generally sensitive, intelligent people who respond positively to quality entertainment.
TEAL’C: I do not understand why everything in this script must inevitably explode.
MARTIN: Look, you guys may all know how things really work out there in the galaxy, but I know the film business. Explosions make great trailers. Simple fact. More explosions, better trailer. Better trailer, more viewers.

I have discovered that Death Note + Lucky Star = awsome.
Here's more proof.

Ah yes, the Dunkel hair. One of the defining characteristics of my getup this Halloween. Me and a bunch of friends are getting together to do the cast of EGS, and we have six of the main eight with me as Elliot. Wish we could find an Ellen...

And sketchery in the name of staying awake is a long and proud tradition throughout the world. I applaud it's continued application!

Their shark fins are a subtle nod of admiration to Matt Groening* and will stay if for no other reason than that. One thing I will experiment with is actually making the fins more "sharky" and pointy when Elliot and Ellen are really cheesed off. I mean, I treat hair as though it is capable of moving on its own, and I've got shark fin hair to work with. It seems like a natural thing to at least try out.

Also, Halloween costumes of EGS characters? Sweet ^_^

* This has to do with Matt Groening's assertion that it is important for characters to be identifiable in silhouette and some of his characters having odd tufts of hair for no reason other than to adhere to this philosophy. Fry from Futurama has spiky tufts as a result of this. The Simpsons has been a huge influence on me even if I do think it should've ended with pride a while ago, and Futurama has also been inspirational to me. I give tribute to Groening via Elliot and Ellen's hair, and shared tribute with the naming of Matt W Cohen, who is named after Matt Groening, Billy West, and David X Cohen.

I can see it now.

Principal-at-MNHS-whose-name-I-can't-remember goes to meet those three, and takes Matt Cohen. Hilarity ensues.

Haha, as someone who kinda looks just like Elliot I got the short end of the stick costume-wise, not only do I look like him but his outfits are too normal. Me and the organizer of the event are still going back and forth over if Elliot, Justin, and Nanase should do their everyday outfits or their ASMA outfits. Either would equal lots of hair gel for the consistently slightly messy and distinct look (thinking of actually going for the Night-Out-to-Painted-Black-era front of the hair to make it more different than my usual). I have the clothes for either ASMA or everyday Elliot (karate outfit possibly with the muscle shirt).

Some of the others are having a more interesting time; we are getting a girl (yes a girl) to be Tedd and she has actually been wanting to dye her hair purple for a while and has a nerf gun that is PERFECT for repainting... and as for Grace we have a diabolical plan involving one of my friends, and a headband and wires hidden under her hair (we are going for antenna-headed human Grace as opposed to squirrely [cant find a tail that poofy] or human [too easy]).

As of right now we have Elliot, Susan, Justin, Tedd, Grace, and possibly Nanase. Missing an Ellen and a Sarah.

Ah. I'm sorry. I just can't help laughing visualizing that.

Edit: I know someone who personality-wise would be a perfect Tedd. I just have to convince him to grow his hair out again and dye it. But first I gotta lure him to EGS...muahahahaha.

Edit 2: I just took the first step...muhahahaha...

Sketches are actually my favorite type of filler. Having no drawing skill myself, the process involved fascinates me to no end.

Now that I've established my position as someone extremely under qualified to make comments on such things I will say that I think the Ellen in the bottom left(the one that looks shocked) has the best hair. Also the person in the upper right seems to not look quite right. I'm not 100% sure on who it is. I want to call her Grace, but the nose looks a little too pointed for it to be her.

Me and a bunch of friends are getting together to do the cast of EGS

Now that you have mentioned this it would be cruel not to supply a picture of the whole group in costume after Halloween.

Oh, there WILL be pictures. I just wish we could get the full eight.

If I may keep this thread derailed for just a BIT longer, what do you think? ASMA or everyday?

I'd say have everyone do everyday. But, you could have Nanase do ASMA.
