Hmm... maybe this comic explains why we haven't seen Tedd do much mad science lately. He was traumatized by the damage to his beautiful deep... uh... crap, what color were Tedd's eyes again? Er, anyway, he decided to take a break and work on less explodey things for a while.
Really though you'd think that Tedd would have the sense to wear some kind of protection. Unless the explosion caught him completely off guard by happening while he was working with stuff like sand and water or it was the weird light effect that hurt his eyes instead of the explosion itself then he really has no excuse for such carelessness.

I'd third it, but I don't know the color progression off the top of my head.

Some examples of Steampunk:
-Much of the writing of Jules Verne
-Girl Genius
-Engineering in the Warcraft setting
-Wild, Wild West
-Final Fantasy VI (or III on the SNES) has a lot of steampunk elements.

I'm imagining steampunk EGS and it is awesome.

Yeah, disabling different backgrounds was a goal for me :J But then, I find dark-text-on-light-BG to be harder to read and eyestrain-inducing, and bloody near everybody on the web does that, so I have little interest in their backgrounds.
Chaos Priestess wrote:Hmm... would the Uryuom tech be steampunk to? 'Cause that would be totally sweet. Brass UFOs loaded to bear with all these neat little whirligigs leaving trails of vapor behind in space, or a TFG with all these gears and a burst of steam coming out from the sides right before it fires. Oh, and all the characters would be dressed in Victorian clothing. You gotta have fancy clothes with steampunk. I wonder what Susan's outfit would look like...
