Hail Il Daniel!

I wonder if anybody here was able to find the secret in the third panel when they first saw this strip. I certainly didn't. Of course, it doesn't really help that Ellen there looks almost exactly like Elliot and the images are so small you can hardly make anything out.

By the way Dan (assuming you read these threads), out of curiosity how long in advance did you have the basic idea for the Sister storyline planned? Was it right from the beginning or did you think of it sometime afterward?

Your topic title made me think of this comic. :roll:

It's such a classic trope, I can't help but love it like a worn out old stuffed animal.

Chronos: I Don't blame him for not wanting to work on his birthday, but now I need to click "next" again to find out more of the story!

...So, his name is Dan, huh?

== Sept, 2008 ==

Crystal: Yeah, I never read the copyright/credits lines, or checked to see who the author of EGS was, so this was when I found it out. His first name, anyway.

I found Waldo, but I can't find the cane, the hat, or the glasses. :(

Also, I didn't realize there were so many instances of Ellen actually pictured (same picture, multiple times). And suprisingly, there's also a picture of Elliot which hadn't appeared in the comic before, either. Although if I stare at this image for much longer I might go a tad insane...
