Elliot uses girl!

The attack is cute but ineffective.

==Spring, 2006==

Chronos:

Heh. Slimes would fear Dragon Warrior heros, wouldn't they? Although, I think this goo is a little more powerful than those little blobs you normally deal with in DW...

...I remember playing that back when it first came out... and finding it way too hard. I also remember about five separate attempts to play through the game through the years, all of which failed for one reason or another (usually boredom) until I finally got my hands on the Game Boy version. (The upgrade in graphics was minimal, but badly needed.)

==September, 2008==

Crystal:

Never did finish DW2 though - even with the GB upgrade the graphics were crappy; and the world was so big that even with a map I kept getting lost.

Have to try out some of the other DW/DQ games one of these days, too.

But, in the words of Sakaki "I think cute is somehow...stronger."

Aye, the same thing happened to me as well. Some of the other games are absolutely made of win and awesome though. 3 was alright. 4 was a very good one, and I think it's getting remade it so getting it should be doable (but I don't know when it will be out sadly). I don't think 5 and 6 been released in the US yet. 7 was OK, but you shouldn't bother with that one unless you have a lot of free time (it will be over 2 hours before you get to the first battle). I have to admit I never beat that one. The final boss kept kicking my butt :( I think that's one of the strong points of that series though. So many RPGs seem to have final bosses that just aren't very menacing. Dragon Warrior/Quest makes you work for that victory. Anyway, in it's favor 7 had an interesting class system that let you learn monster "classes" as well as your basic fighter/cleric/wizard stuff. 8 is probably the best in my opinion. It's just an all around good game, although I rolled my eyes when the main character first went Super Saiyan. No, really. His glow might be pink instead of yellow, but he does have a glow and his hair does go spikey. Comparisons are also kinda helped by them having the same artist.

...uh, I'll admit I'm a bit of a DQ fanboy... :oops:
