Maybe he should have tried the Nodo-ga Kawaku Suponji Kougeki? (please forgive my horrible Japanese)

Anyway, didn't Dan say once that Elliot wouldn't have known the phrase "Togateiru Fohku Kohgeki" unless Nanase taught it to him? I wonder how that happened. I'm guessing... he interrupted one of her meals with something she thought was unimportant, and after that he experienced it first hand.

Yes, Elliot has some slight scars from that incident; exactly where we'll leave up to the reader's imagination...

Maybe he learned rudimentary grammar and picked the words up from her at separate times?

Actually I think just the words "I'm sorry, Nanase, but the pizza won't be ready for another five minutes" would be more than enough to do it. :shifty:

==Spring, 2006==

Chronos: He fought using a fork?! Anyway, on to the next comic!

==September, 2008==

Crystal: I was thinking, Elliot's "pointless Japanese names" are actually an inversion of what is generally seen in anime- where the attack names are sometimes in English for no apparent reason!
