Oh, right, the goo was in the cafeteria. I guess that might explain where the extra mass came from, and how it was able to maintain a balance of solids and liquids. It even has a drink in it's hand which I had somehow overlooked before. That still doesn't explain how it grew eyes and teeth though, and it must have one heck of a metabolism to break down it's food so quickly. I wonder if the kids already had lunch that day, or if they had a problem due to everything the goo consumed or left slime on. Not that you'd be able to tell what had been slimed in your average school cafeteria anyway :P I still kinda wonder how the steroids effected things, though. And for that matter, just where they were if Elliot found the goo in the cafeteria. Wait... maybe the school was intentionally drugging the student body to make them better at sports and easier to influence by murals!

Getting away from paranoia for a second, can anybody tell for certain what the mural in the first panel says. It kinda looks like... it might be "Dark Shive". Out of curiosity Dan, (assuming you're bothering to read these threads) how long have you been using that particular name?

Maybe the stereotypical German scientist has made a growth soda, too?

== Spring, 2006 ==

Chronos:

Too lazy to draw a background... I've had days like that. Lots of days like that, now that I think of it...

Crystal:

Please note that the preceding was not meant to imply I draw a webcomic - I was referring to mostly non-comic art (such as posted at my DeviantArt page).

Actually,
Tedd, in the previous comic wrote:This sucks! Everyone else has already gone home!
either the school was evacuated, or Tedd and Elliot stayed after school to search for the goo. (I'm guessing the later, considering the size it was when they were given the task of finding it.)
