Then I hope he used blu-tack to hang that poster rather than pins.

Blu-tack or not, he still ended up eating that "kebab."

I'm doing it at an art gallery which doubles as the headquarters for a magazine.

And when I say 'doing it', I think you know what I mean.

Sex.

Wait, you're doing it at an art gallery, right now? Like now? And posting at the same time?

Skills man. Skills.

Sounds pretty cool! I did one of my 'work experience' details at a plastics factory. They manufactured the heads for Shampoo bottles... sounds exciting? Hoo-boy was it!
Add to that the fact that the radio didn't move from TT-FM* the whole fucking time, and that was around the height of the Brittney Spears boom...
It was an awesome time.

Aussies (or at least Melbornites) should know what I mean.

Well, think about it- at least you knew at the end of the week never to work in a plastics factory.
And all the words to Britney Spears will come in handy sometime during your life, right?

I'm doing work experience at Random House Publishing in November, which will be fun.

Sounds like you both got into good things there.
Nice work!

A bonus in my work is that I get the new EP from The Gear. They're good.

Never heard of 'em. Aussie band?

Yeah. From your hometown, methinks. Assuming you're from Melbourne, that is.

Their new single, which I have a promotional copy of, is starting to be played on heaps of different radio stations now. It got into Rage and the Net 50 on JJJ.

Do they happen to have a website with samples?
If so, linky?

Speaking of Aussie bands, I'm glad that Cog finally got an album together. Their EPs were fantastic, but it's good to have a full CD too.

Work experience, eh?

Work = fun, eh?
