I havn't seen it yet. I saw the second one, then watched Ed Wood.

Ed Wood wasn't too great.

Also, I might be loosing the DSL if I don't get enough monies.

So, if I disappear for a long while, that is why, and expect me to return some other time. Condolences to Spinach.

The only movie I've seen recently is HHGttG, and I was happy with it.
Especially the extra scene in the credits.

There was a... Curses! i knew i should've stayed at the end of that movie. Can you outline it for me? In great detail?

I like Ed Wood! It's cool!

HHGttG = the awesome. The extra scene at the end was awesome. The movie was all around really funny and good. Sam Rockwell did great and Mos Def? Not as bad as I thought! I liked him!

I saw Star Wars Episode III, I liked it. The tie-ins to the older movies had to be my favorite part. Like seeing Wedge at the end, the part about wiping C-3PO's memory....*squeel!*

I don't know why everyone hates Hayden, I mean, sure he's not the greatest, but spending all this time complaining about how he sucks kinda ruins the movie. Not saying you guy's said that, I am just saying in general.

I loved the movie, a lot a lot.

I just watched the other star wars movies (whose names are suddenly lost on me...because I am dumb) while receiving a running commentary from my mom on how everything happens to all the characters. My favorite mommy quote of the night was

"Oh look! You can see the dark side taking over Anakin here!"

paralleled only by

"If thats Padme, what happened to Queen Amadala?"

Oh mom....

I saw Episode III. It was definitely better than Episodes I and II, no question. Also, no question, it didn't compare to the original movies, which is about what I expected. I just don't like the excessive use of CGI. The old movies managed to be great with really tight shots, and stuff like that. Now they're just like "ooh look at my pretty computer images... LOOK AT THEM!!"

Or something.

I like this more than the original trilogy.
This is because I do not enjoy following Luke's character at all. I am more interested in the Obi Wan story, with Qui Gon and Anakin, and others. There is a lot more drama.
Episode III is such a classic tragedy, I love it.
CGI is visual. Of course they say "Look at these fancy images!"
Much like actors say "Look at my acting!"
The bad ones, anyway. You KNOW it's CGI so you're more critical. I love the use of CGI. If there is any story that BENEFITS from CGI, it's this.
You think I fucking care of Chewbacca is a guy in a suit? You think I fucking care if Yoda is a puppet?
I KNOW he is a puppet. How does that make it better than me KNOWNING he is made on a computer?
If CGI can get the point across, the more power to it.
If Lucas had the technology back then, do you think he'd use it?
Yeah, probably. What the fuck am I saying, of course he would have, cause he's going back and correcting things.
And then we'd have no fucking arguement.
Look at my avatar as I say this.

dude...seriously...you can only say "i like CGI" so many times without getting redundant, and youve become redundant. did you go crazy over the tank "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" (barf)

You know what'd be rad?
If you ate a bowl of dicks and read what I said.
Just eat a bowl of dicks, actually.
That's all you do.

Well, someone had to say it.

So God Mexican shows up, pisses a couple people off, then leaves?

That's really nice.

Cool.

Everything Event said about Star Wars, I second. CGI is good and great and I love to watch it because it helps me enjoy the story more. People just complain about it because other people complain about it. Too much people saying the older movies were better because they didn't depend on the technology. Screw that. So you watched and liked the older movies. Here's some news- we all did. Get over it and let yourself enjoy the new ones because you know you do.

(And none of this is directed to any of you, you're all cool and I respect what you say. It's just a vent in general.)

I like the older movies better because they had Hoth. Actually, I just like the Empire Strikes Back better. Best opening scene of any Star Wars movie.

Then again, I haven't seen Revenge of the Sith.

I hear the fight scene at the start of Revenge Of The Sith is supposed to be the best in the whole movie.

All of the movies even. But that might just be me remembering wrong. But ah well.

And also:

I'd like to see the film, I guess, but I can't get excited about it after the last two.

You should. It is quite good.

People liked Yoda because he was such a lifelike puppet.
Why can't we like him for being lifelike CGI?
I like to watch him do stuff.

All right, we get the picture. We get it, hey? You like CGI. Which is where we basically started. See, contarary to popular belief, people didn't start off by hating CGI, else it would never have been used in any movies. They liked it. And as short-lived as that time might have been, that is where we started. So congrats on coming full circle.

Oh, and for the record, Yoda is badass. In most any form.
