True. I found it quite funny, but I sure hope they don't make 4 more movies in order to complete this thing. I mean, I think (Not sure, haven't read the books in years) that they added quite a few things taht weren't there in the books, just so they could fill up movie time, such as the visit to Deep Thought's planet. i mean, they are now committed and have to finish the series, but maybe they could make three movies instead of five, or something, because five movies isn't necessarily gonna catch the average movie-goer's attention. And this way, they won't have to grope for extra content.

I love it- The Hitchhiker's Guide movie. Read the book too.

I am easy to satisfy. I don't go into the movie expecting it to be as great as the book. A book and a movie are two totally different things, even if they are based on the same story.

Good times for me.

The part involving a fanfare and the vogon construction ship is piss-your-pants funny.

I think that with the eight or so people that post here, everyone is a respected member of the community. Except for Dora, she's just our sex-bitch.

Interesting flip-flop. I probably would have loved it if it weren't for the fact that something about it was very childish.

Childish? Like taking two different quotes out of context just to try and spite someone?

Even so it still doesn't quite work seeing as in one he's just saying that he didn't like a movie enough to go out and buy it, and the other is about him not expecting a movie to be the same as the book it was based off.

Better luck next time.

Anytime, you furry fiend.

Man, either a woman is being choked to death in the next room (and asphixiation makes people squeak) or she's got a really weird laugh. One of the two.

Oh, shit. Umm... I actually said there was not a flip-flop, before I said there was one.

No, I mean, uh... I never said anything about a flip-flop. Nor did I ever mistake a comment about Igby Goes Down for a comment about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I hate how Americans call thongs flip-flops. What a silly name.

Although it is an accurate onomatapaeia.

I just made an accurate onomatapaeia for my feelings about FCL.

It also got a shoe thrown at me.

Also; Yarn, you were definatly defended by someone who was not me, but thanks for thinking of me.

No, we call them sandals. And the fact that you people call them "thongs" is just plain disgusting.

P.S. I'm not sure, but I think you misspelled onamonapoea.
