No, I just climbed it anyway. I wasn't very enthusiastic about the whole thing. Whenever I got to a tricky bit, or if I had made a mistake, I would just go back down.

I just came back from a three day hike. Yesterday, we took the wrong track and ended up scaling a cliff to get to the top instead of taking the steps. I think you would've died.

the band:

We don't have a website up yet. (We probably won't until we start playing shows, cause we're lazy).. We have about 6 songs fully written, but no vocals yet. (I'm new to the whole sing+guitar at the same time thing, but I'm getting much better). Anyways, we're rock/punk/a dose or two of emo, with the occasional heavier, more hardcore song. But I'm sure once I actually start singing, our sound will be easier to define. MP3's? Nothing worth sharing quite yet. A couple people on the other forum I frequent are interested however, and now so are you, so we might actually get good strong recordings (without experimentational fucking around) of a couple of our songs (still minus vocals) and find a place to host them. If I do, I'll be sure to post them here, just for you Yarn.

Apparently, a good way of getting better at singing wihle playing is to play the guitar while watching TV. It's not so much the singing as the sharing of attention over two activities. Doing that means you can practise while watching your favourite shows etc.
This is what 've been told, anyway.

Saskatoon! My friend moved there a few years ago! Is it true that it's extremely flat? And that there isn't much to do? And that the Chinese population is an acute minority?

Seriously though, all my friend does is rail about how much he misses Toronto, so I'm not sure if I like Saskatoon all that much.
