If you could author a MiH strip...

Postby Khris on Fri Jan 14, 2005 3:59 pm

...how would it go? Who would be in it? Where would it take place (because we have so many options)? What would be the moral of the story?

If it was a MIH strip, then i guess it would have to be in a desert, or for some added hilairity, you could put them somewhere odd, like gamal getting his car washed, and aram steals something, or sets fire to the car wash.

Or something with ramath/ramas, then i spose they would be getting breakfast.

...Or lunch! :o

I think something completely different would be pretty good. The same theme, with angry aram and sad jeriah and crazy sam and all that, but maybe a different setting, somewhere really modern. As apposed to a desert.

...Yep.

1. Aram walks in with his hat on fire.

2. Jeriah walks by and complains "That is SO old. It does not make you either interesting or distinctive."

3. Aram frowns.

4. Later on, Gamal is walking by Jeriah (lying on ground).

Jeriah says "hey Gamal, Aram just broke my face."

Was Gamal walking by after just getting his car washed? Or after having eaten lunch?

I would personally make a guest comic with Aram and Jeriah standing there.

panel 1. *no one talks*

panel 2. * no one talks*

panel 3. * Aram begins to say something as he is cut off by Jeriah who says "shut up!"

panel 4 * Aram frowns*
"Hey Warren I dont think its safe to go in there"
"Oh really, why isnt it safe?"
"Well for one the sign back there said" ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK
"Oh so now your going to listen to stupid signs"
"Well that and Dana's left arm is lying on the ground beside your leg."

Gamal and Aram walking.

Gamal talking about how his shitty job makes him contemplate the validity of Marxism and the possibility of it ever working

Aram responding, saying how he'll take advantage of the widespread commitment to the good and equality of all people for his own benefit

Gamal concluding by saying "...but then I come home, and I'm reminded that there are people like you in this world."

Was bored, enjoy. And yeah, its the wrong font, couldn't find the one that Aaron uses.

Also, art stolen from Aaron farber, dialogue stolen from Stephen Brooks

TrustWorthy, that is awesome.

Its funny and great that you took the time to make it. I've always wanted to make my own guest strip but have been to lazy :( Some day! You have inspired me with your awesome comic!

Trustworthy, that comic had 2 lines of dialogue, both of which were the best in MiH history.

You capture the characters perfectly, and yet still have funny new strips. Very nice. :)

clearly this is the way we should handle things.... cut and paste his old strips into new ones until he comes back out of anger! good going, chaps!

I'm not creating anything. The art is composited from a number of the comics, and the dialog is from the posts made above. Soon as I get round to making khris's I'm all out of material to steal. Glad you're enjoying it though. And hey, if it gets aaron riled enough to make a post, at least we'll know for sure he's not dead.

Aww, I havn't seen Trustworthy around for a while. Maybe he left when Aaron got back.

But I loved those two comics, it's almost like old school MiH. Its too bad this stopped.

Not to say I don't appriciate Aaron, because thinking that would make you stupid. And no one wants that for you.
