Your views are worthless at best anyway.

Though I would agree Texas is stupid.

Do you guys just make up band names, to make us non music people feel confused and sad? Because most of these names are just absurd.

Most of the newer bands, typically those pop-punk ones have bad music and worse names. Like Bowling For Soup or the dreaded Yellow Card...

I hate them. They must burn.

"Yellowcard" has a story behind the name. Most of them do. Led Zeppelin would have been argued as a bad name, but they're awesome,.

Emo.
The worst music available today.
No, that's wrong, but it is the worst "rock" music available today.
Emo fucking sucks, and what's with their obsessions with the days of the week? Thursday, Taking Back Sunday...

I enjoy how all these kids are posting that if they don't like the music, it automatically sucks. They are probably right though, huh?

And Yellowcard has been a band since 1997, which is about 8 years. And Bowling For Soup started in 1994, which is 10 years. So when you say "new bands" what exactly were you going for there? Perhaps you should research things you want to say before you say them, or you may end up looking like an idiot.

I am leaning towards the arguement that says "If they don't like the music, they aren't obligated to be open minded about it." meaning if they don't like it, they should be able to say it sucks. At the same time, I can come back with fists raised and make my case. I like it better that way.

Most "emo" bands don't have mainstream success. Canada has a lot of them, and they know eachother and help eachother out. It is the same thing when people say: "What is this fad with all the bands with 'the' in the name?". It isn't a FAD, you just started noticing it now.

Well, living in Ontario like I do, and having gone to the alexisonfire message board, there are a lot of bands like Taking Back Sunday circulating around. Most of which aren't that popular yet and are relatively small

Canada has a long musical tradition of emo, grunge, and death metal bands. I find this really odd, because Canada's not a very depressing place, but for a while it's been a breeding ground of this kind of stuff.
I've been quite the Roint lately.

Because Grunge/Death metal have to be depressing...
I know that I only ever listen to Metal when I'm contemplating suicide which, given the frequency that I listen to it, is atleast every second day

either way, new bands or not, 1997 or 1994, they still suck almost willingly.

Compare the name Yellow Card to that of Led Zeppelin?
