As long as everybody's just listing the bands and artists they like...

AC/DC, B52's, The Beatles, Blue

Canada was sort of in it, but it was more like "Yeah, yeah there goes Bush".

Officially, Canada was not part of it. But as Canada is rather wimpy, it tried to have it both ways. It said it wasn't part of the war to please the population and then sent off a couple of boats so America wouldn't compromise trading relationships (which it did, anyway).

Canada sort of patted America on thr back and stepped away, cause they have to sit there next to them and deal with it.

er super fetus, you mentioned earlier that you loved ska? that's awesome! i do too! some of my favourite ska bands are reel big fish, catch 22, save ferris, the hippos, less than jake (pre-anthem), and ASOB (local ska band). mustard plug, the distorted penguins, and flip the switch are cool too

hmm i guess have relatively wide taste in music. some different genres, but no rap or pop or country. basically any form of rock/punk/grunge/ska, and some emo. some of my other favourite bands are the foo fighters, nirvana, incubus, the get up kids, veruca salt, the new pornographers, harvey danger, weird al, the reunion show, flogging molly, senses fail, the bouncing souls, the clash, metric, saves the day, and the dead kennedys... and that's all i can think of for now

and yes, bush sucks. but he did win. unfortunately. hopefully he won't win again.

That's not a particularly wide taste in music...
It's pretty much all Rock/Grunge/Punk crossbreeds, which can all be slotted into the 'alternative' genre if need be.

That's an abusive use of the word "relative".

er i'm sorry for being abusive to the word "relative." i hope it can forgive me

what i meant was that i don't think i necessarily confine my musical tastes to a particular, narrow genre. i'm not just an "emo kid" or "ska kid" or whatever. a lot of people i know have more confined music interests, so in comparison i like a little more of a variety of bands. for example, a lot of the more "emo" kids might not like bands such as nirvana or bikini kill. this is just a generalization, i know. and i never said i liked all kinds of music or anything, and in fact i said that i generally like bands in the rock/grunge/punk genres as well as ska and some emo. i'm sorry if i didn't express myself very eloquently or if i made a bad impression. i'm not the best at phrasing things.

o and i forgot to say brand new and kittie. they are both awesome.

This is because they lay upon the desk, as I am not wearing them.

It's amazing just how quickly an innocent discussion about music can degenerate into pantless mayhem.
