A friend and I were originally counting on getting a ride from another friend down to San Diego. Unfortunately, friend B's car got stolen, and the new car he bought to replace it is a 2-seater. Since friend A won't be able to afford an Amtrak ticket *and* his half of the hotel room, I'm hoping some boardee from the San Francisco bay area and going to Comic-Con could give us a ride. Could somebody help us out?

All the Hotels near the Con center are filled, I checked with my travel agent.

The nearest hotels I could find were in the "Hotel Circle". I chose the Ramada Plaza. It's about $100 per night.

Maritza, if you need a place to stay, I've got a double at the Quality Inn Harbor View (about 13 blocks from the convention center) and the guy I was going to room with is getting cold feet. IIRC it's about $105/night/person.

I was just about to post asking if anyone needed a room before I saw this.
