The return of the Suggested Voice Talent list

Postby Aaron M. Holm, esquire on Wed Jun 04, 2003 4:34 am

Hey, Kids.

Those of you have been around S&V since the very beginning my remember that I used to include a list of suggested voice talent for each character, a-la Scud: the Disposable Assassin. That went away for a while, but I'm bringing it back.

I have a few general ideas regarding who I'd love to see voicing each characer, but I'm curious as to your thoughts and suggestions, as well.

So, who would you have voicing each character?
Mr. Holm is personally responsible for the quality of his comics. If you and your friends aren't completely and utterly entertained by any of his comics, it may result in his being booted from Keenspot. This will dishonor his family, which he can only restore by taking his own life with a sword.

Mira Sorvino for Ajax, and Jeaneanne Garafalo (I'm certain I've misspelled that) for Decoy. Danny DeVito for Smitty. Glenn Close for councilwoman Davros. Ian MacDiarmid for von Zell, or possibly Jurgen Prochnow, if you want an actual German. Ed Norton or Johnny Depp for Billy Groggins. von Zell's son-in-law (the clone at least) is definitely a job for Patrick Warburton ("Hey there, gorgeous." That kills me every time.)

Interesting selections.

I'm still in the midst of putting together my full list, comprising main characters, minor characters, dead characters, and not-yet-released characters.

But I still want to hear you guys' suggestions! :D

Prochnow for von Zell? Strange, but interesting. Cause his role in "The Boat"? Or don't you know more germans?

I, myself, was thinking Udo Kier (Johnny Mneumonic; Barb Wire) for von Zell.

But then, even Iwill admit that I don't know more Germans.

@Fanboy:
In The Replacement Killers a famous german actor played a minor (replaceable) role (with no dialog): Til Schweiger.
You can admire him in this upcoming movies (in the USA):
King Arthur (2004) .... Cynric
U-Boat (2003) .... Herdt
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003)

I think that was enough advertisement. :)
