You are really amazing sometimes. This would be one of those times.

Just in case you were wondering.

Thanks, Napoleon. That means a lot. I spent a long time on the drawings in particular, and I'm proud of them.

{edit}You're in Indianapolis now!?{/edit}

I hate to sound like a joiner, but this really raises the bar.

I've never really felt for a Parasaurolophus before.

I'm late chiming in, but a hearty "Amen" to all of the above. Except the "jerk" thing.

Mr. bup,

This comic was one of your best. I still follow you religiously- in fact, if you send me a statue of yourself I will enshrine it between Ganesh and St. Ignatius in the local Unitarian church. It was such a kicker that it made me decide to brave the re-registration ritual to come out of retirement and tell you so.

Going back to the statue thing, how about this idea for a powerful display: a four-armed bup with a bag of garbage in one hand, a bup-blue artist's pen in another, Mrs. BoxJam's hair ribbon held assertively but not aggressively between the forefinger and thumb of the third hand, and a beer in the fourth. One leg is frozen in motion to signify the eternal dance of garbage removal, and the foot of the other leg rests on the throat of the immobilized orange guy.

i must agree with all of the above. this is a very warm, moving doodle, and a wonderful insight into boxjamina. one of your best.

and if you supply the above-mentioned statue, i may have to become a unitarian.

or at least visit the church.
