oldtip's Daily Doodle Analysis

Feeling BLUE? You'll fit right in here. [insane laughter]

Damn, and I thought the joke was that he was trying to knit a portrait of Ms. Boxjam in lieu of using a camera.

The "copyright infringement" joke of a couple of days earlier, being one of my favourites for the year, makes up for any botchery.

So hearing it was supposed to be, "You're all idiots and the biggest idiots are the soldiers in Iraq," just kind of ties up all the loose ends for you?

I particularly like the littel BoxJam going over the cliff and running from the explosion. Nice touch.

Nancy Grace is tuning in to the New York Times and finding out it's been preempted by True Crime Magazine every night.

My favorite parts of last night were when CNN picked races with 0% reporting. These people they are good.

My sister lived in Fairbanks for a time. As far as I can recall, she never had any encounters with guys in blue muu-muus. But a moose came to her window once, and for a few years, it was a treasured anecdote for her.

i would think it would be hard to top a moose.

The lively dog party was pretty darned engaging on its own, even if I didn't get the reference.

But today. The homage was obvious, and even Grover's facsimile makes BoxJam take out the garbage. But what is in BoxJam's mouth? It looks like he has an apple stuffed in there, with a lit cigar at the end, or something.

And for added context: http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/The_Monste ... _This_Book

Next, I'd like to see BoxJam and Mallethead find a cookie tree.

That isn't the beaver currently being featured in Mark Trail, is it? Because that one's not too bright, even for a beaver.

supposedly, you can now buy frankincense (or maybe myrrh). apparently, you put it on a fire and it smells nice.

....so apparently the tradition of overpriced, pretty much useless gifts was established right from the start.
