i feel i should come up with something appropriate in praise of all the inconvenient truths, but now it's friday and my brain is fried.

i suppose that's a sort of inconvenient truth.

A bit earlier than originally scheduled, if things go my way.

For some reason, I think today's Doodle is not meant to be taken literally.

Do you fly to Tinley Park? It's just about as far...

Seriously, how could a guy from Tinley Park be a Brewers' fan? Busch Stadium has *got* to be closer to there than Miller Park, and the team's better, and the beer's... well, if you're drinking Miller or Busch, you don't really care about the beer...

glad to hear you could go see the freakishly tall one. sorry i missed, but that pesky job thing interferred. as far as tinley park brewer's fans, well if you decide to dump yer long-standing team allegiance the year they win the world series, i'd guess yer baseball-rootin' skills are a bit sub par.

I had an idea for a Shock and Awe cartoon that was going to make reference to "Aw, Shucks" but by the time I got around to it the meaning was hopelessly outdated.

Good for you, getting the hatchet in our collective arm.

Is it pronounced different when you spell it "agrieved" as opposed to "aggrieved?"

Just asking, 'cos I know a language/grammar hound like yourself would never let a typo slip through in the Doodle.

a few questions/comments...

Did the angel/bird have a glow in the original version?

Thanks for the laugh track on the M-Head doodle. I was wondering where to laugh.

No. Someone told me they didn't know what it was. I thought that would help.

Again, because someone told me they didn't know when to laugh. You always laugh when Mallethead enters.

I met Mallethead once, several years ago at the Green Door Tavern when Derbs was in town. As I recall, you were there, too. Why didn't you tell me then that I was supposed to laugh when Mallethead entered??

Hate sudoku? This guy does, too. Likens it to Solitaire.

It's freaky to me how Sudoku just appeared while I was away from the States. It's like I've managed to visit an alternate timeline.

Also, did you notice the 'random comic' navigation button in the navigation buttons now?
