After watching The Quest for the Holy Grail for the ump-tenth time, I suddenly realized that The Gneech's Black Knight, and the Black Knight in the movie must be related.
--Rhan, "Tis but a scratch!"

LOL!
BK: I'm invinvible!!!
Ar: You're a loony!
BK: The black Knight ALWAYS triumphs!!!
Ar: Look, I'll have your leg... right! **Chop!**
BK: All right, well, call it a draw.
Indeed, they are probably one and the same.
But I've always wondered, silliness aside, the black knight guarding the bridge is supposed to be Launcelot, according to legend. Also, Lancelot is French (and Arthur does go to war with him after the affair with Guinivere, though I doubt it ends with barnyard foul). I suppose the movie is funnier that way, but essentially there are three versions of Sir du Loc in Holy Grail. Hmm...
