Well, while technically Peter Pan _has_ been in a cartoon, I consider that a literary reference. I was thinking of someone else. But Beetle Bailey is correct for the second one.
But yes, Mr. Taylor is who I was thinking of. His first name is Joey, by the way, although I don't actually think that's appeared in the strip.
BTW, who is Gordon Lightfoot?
-The Gneech

I managed to get them right? Excuse me a moment... {steps outside, "WOOHOO!", steps back in}.
Thanks for the praise everyone. I suspect I had a slight advantage in that with a trans-Atlantic time difference I got to the 'new' questions (which were the only ones I could answer) sooner than everyone else.
It's good to know that the two and a half hours it took me to read the entire archive paid off. (Note: that should not be taken to imply that reading the archive was not inherently worthwhile. Good webcomics are a worthy end in and of themselves!)
Thanks for all the fun, Level Head. I won't be joining in the trivia contest in the run up to New Year (as is only fair), but I would be very happy if it continued after that, even if only for fun and the kudos of getting NeverNever trivia right. I'll spend the time 'til New Year thinking of evil trivia questions. (BTW, I hope someone figures out the TOYCO question, because even after reading the archive I have no idea.) I think you can get my email address from this board if you need to contact me at any point.
