I totally agree. I'd just set it to play once and only once. But that's not gonna happen seeing how the song is, like, 10 minutes long.

I found the Soviet national anthem, it's OK, but I like the "Hymn To Red October" better.

I always thought that the theme to Tetris should've been their national anthem.

Now to go on WinMX and find stuff by Sleater-Kinney... :)

Ozma did a bitchin' cover of the Tetris song. It's actually called (and I'm mangling the spelling here) koroberinki. So, if you want to find it, I'd just search for "Ozma", and then get anything that looks like that.

There's also an awesome video for it.

Augh! Why? Why do these people encode to 128kbps!? I would've bought the album anyway!

I also dislike 128kpbs. It's the one reason I didn't get TMBG Unlimited. Because they were charging billions of dollars for 128 kpbs mp3s. And I was all "no, that's stupid."

Then I found most of them on audiogalaxy/whatever anyway.

But it works out, because aside from the Residents, I probably give TMBG the most money I give to bands. Maybe Ween. But that's mainly just because the Residents are constantly releasing new shirts/records/books/mugs/porn/bags/buttons/etc. And their Merch-Arm is actually way competent and good, unlike TMBG's. Which.. well, it doesn't take as LONG as it used to (if'n I recall, I'd wait 6 months before. One time, and this is totally serious, when I ordered a set of the shot glasses (I think this was the original flavor with the card suits/Misc T writing), it took a year, but that was because the factory burned down. Again, I'm serious on this, I actually got a call from TMBProductions. Not A John, though. They wanted to know if I wanted to wait for the factory to be rebuilt/them to get a new factory/whatever, or if I just wanted to cancel that part of the order. I said I'd wait.). But it still takes a while. Which is kinda annoying. That, and they still owe me for the John Henry shirt they never shipped. I should just write them and say "I want to give up on getting the JH shirt, and give me up something new instead."

Apparently another member of TODCRA actually has a credit-they'll-probably-never-redeem for a Lincoln poster.

But anyway, though, as I was saying, I hate 128 kpbs, and I probably would have put up with eMusic and such if they actually would do 256 kpbs or 320kpbs. And I probably would have at least considered it if it was 196kpbs.

But _NOT_ 128.

I consider 160kbps as the minimum. Anything below that and the song sounds too watery. But I save all of my song files to 320Kbps... which is probably why my music collection is now up to 14.2 gigabytes (108 CD's, 1,835 songs).

Best Buy didn't have the album. There goes my dream of spending less than $20 on a CD. Now I'll have to go to stupid Sam Goodey in filthy Park Meadows mall.

I'm also all signed up to be in an extra in a MTV music video. Today was a good day.

I suppose pleading with you to destroy the system from within, or at least spreading the good name of owliecomics to everyone, is a wishful dream at the least then.

he could sit around in the video just going "www.owliecomics.com" over and over, and hope they give him a closeup, so deaf people will go to your site!

That is all I ask! Why are people so STINGY about sharing their
moment in the sun with ME!? And how come nobody's gone
killing anyone famous while screaming my name and my
website yet? People are so SELFISH.

DUDE! I got an even better idea! OK, OK, OK, instead of mouthing "www.owliecomics.com" over and over, hoping they'll cut to you for long enough to get Linda to go see Owlie, take off your shirt, and take a razor and slash the URL into your flesh! That way they'll be sure to keep the camera on you, because it's very video-friendly. Everyone wants to see someone mutilating themselves! MTV will give you your own SHOW.

I demand a producer credit on the show.

I'm listening to it now! It's funny, cause when it came in at the radio station, I listened to it a bunch, because we were playing it (because I was filling in as Music Director, so I was all like "we are so playing this, because it rocks".) Then I went to a party in NYC put forth by their label, and they gave me a free copy, but it was funny cause I just now unshrinkwrapped it. Because I just now listened to it in a non-radio-station location. Which was funny. Cause it's a kickass record.

Communism works if everyone is a communist. People are by nature egocentric. Conclusion, communism looks good on paper, not anywhere else. Not that capitalism is any better though.

Hence! Lets all become hermits and shoot anyone trying to come close.

Basically, the video will consist of me in a large crowd of large-breasted women "bringing down da hizouse", and then the "artist" throws a basketfull of money at me.

The "artist" also has a guitar made entirly out of marijuana. I told him that it probably would sound like crap... but he said that they're not actually going to record the music there, which I think is a failure on his part.

I'll try spreading the good word of Owlie!, but honestly, I don't think you want these people knowing that you exsist. That is, of course, if I actually do this video, because it sounds really lame.

Ooo, also, you should make some Owlie! stickers that're like 6x3" or something. Cuz then I could coat it with enamel and put it on my car.

My Bob The Angry Flower sticker is looking alittle worn, so space is available. :P

I thought Cafepress had some owlie stickers. Even though, if everything else they do is any indication, they probably don't use the right colors and stuff.

If I DO do stickers (I was going to before MAY 3 but I am A
LAZY BUM) I will not be going the CAFEPRESS MILE but instead
use a vinyl place I saw, as I can enjoy the quantity of many
for a decent price.

And do not worry about the HEMPERS, as I doubt WEEDHURKERS
are someones I care to relate to.

Unless they want to give me a bucket of money.

I'd honestly turn Owlie into HEMPY THE WEED JOINT BIRD for
a damned bucket of money.

That is good!

I dunno, I'm probably really bitter about spending a bunch of money on getting all of the types of TODCRA shirts, and then having to send them all back, because all the colors were horrible and wrong and stupid. They _all_ looked like complete and total ass. I was pissed. cause I eventually got my money back, but I had to pay for the shipping back. So I was mad.
