Locations, people?

The noble Order of the Knights of Jubal traces its origins back to the Year Two Thousand A.D., when a group of distinguished persons of good and true character, founded the order to promote chivalry and honour. The order takes its name from our leader, Alexander Jubal McRae, who on two (so far) occasions has been seriously injured, in one case fatally, defending an innocent woman from attackers.

With the idea of cells being thrown around, we need to know roughly where everyone is in the world in order to form local cells.
Personally, I reside in Central Illinois, in the USA.
Best,

do the cells need to be organized geographically? I mean, perhaps someone can be involved in a 'local' cell and an interest cell, or just involved in local, or just involved in interest

i can see the benefits of forming local cells, certainly. i'm just raising the point so we don't get tunnel vision focussing on one type or another
rei

I think it may be more that we might descover someone sitting in our backyard if we reveal our locations to the point where we're in the same region of the state. That would be interesting. Goegraphy may be helpful if you have a project you need to tag-team with someone about...

Spokane, Washington for me. And I want to celebrate, because yesterday I actually got my State of Washington Vehicle Title in the mail from Olympia! I'm one step closer to being a full resident! (Now all I need is my driver's license and to register to vote.)
------------------

Have you ever seen the Geico commercial where the squirrel causes the driver to wreck and then does a victory dance with another squirrel? I swear, they filmed that in Due West, South Carolina. I've seen instances where a squirrel will run around in the bottom of a maintenance trash can and wait for some unsuspecting soul, most often a freshman, to peer over the edge of the can so the squirrel can launch himself at the kid. Every time the school paper comes out, there's an article about the squirrel problem. Last year, a squirrel attacked the mayor's secretary. I'm telling you, they rule that place. They're every frickin' where. And they look different from the squirrels at home. Squirrels in Michigan are fat and black; these are thin and greyish. Broad-tailed tree rats.
------------------

I reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan and attend school in Due West, South Carolina. Some of you other Michiganders should know where A2 is, but no one knows where Due West is. Yes, it is a town, not a direction, and its main inhabitants are squirrels, estimated some 60,000 strong.
------------------
