EI Website

The noble Order of the Knights of Jubal traces its origins back to the Year Two Thousand A.D., when a group of distinguished persons of good and true character, founded the order to promote chivalry and honour. The order takes its name from our leader, Alexander Jubal McRae, who on two (so far) occasions has been seriously injured, in one case fatally, defending an innocent woman from attackers.

Hi there!
I'm arranging to get www.ivbalis.org registered. Should happen later this week.
In the meantime, iubalis.org (with a "u") will continue to work.
Timber has sent me his arms and I'll put that up this week. It's a 90 x 105 GIF.
That looks like a good size to me. I'd like to suggest that we don't have any thumbnails bigger than 105 x 105.
That will allow me to put them three across and still avoid crowding if people are viewing it at 640 x 480.
The graphic it links to can, of course, be any size you wish, or I can link it to a page or a couple of pages (which I will host.)
At the moment, I don't plan to limit how much a particular member can put on the server, but if it starts to get excessive or there's too much traffic, I'll have to set limits.
Regards,
Sir Gregory of Melbourne, KI

------------------

Sir Gregory,
Do you want to have a my "Introduction to Heraldry" at ivbalis.org? If you think it would be appropriate/helpful/fun I can polish a few edges and have it available by the end of February.
What do you think?
Peace,
Sir Timber Bram, KI Eqvites Ivbalis.

Okay. I'll get that to you as soon as concievably possible. Anyway... I've got a two-shield idea... which one should be thumbnailed? Glasses, or no Glasses?
------------------

I don't know what Sir Gregory had in mind, but I used the glasses over red and silver bends in chief as the starting point and built everything else around that.
A thumbnail image is below. The large version is identical (but, obviously, larger).
Peace,
Sir Timber Bram, KI Eqvites Ivbalis.
