I'm really feeling Corey's pain......

Autobiographical comics were never so bright and shiny!

Look at it this way: If something you do becomes trendy, you and you're friends will know how cool you are for doing it before everyone else.
Hell, as long as fedoras and pocket watches stay out of style, I'll be happy.
*clicks through to the Sex & Violence page*
Nice costume, Esyla!
------------------

Me too! Everytime I defy a trend, people instantly follow me!
... No, wait. That's not true. They make fun of me.
...
...
Is it really a sin to be a man with long hair? Or to have worn track pants almost until highschool? Dammit, track pants are comfortable (I'd still wear 'em if they made them my size...), and long hair keeps me warm! So screw 'em all!
Suffice to say, I've never had the same problem as Corey.

The scary thing is how true the comic is. They actually do spy on potential trend setters! (Although not from afar...) Haven't you seen that documentary on PBS?
Dave "Marketing hath gone WAY TOO FAR these days." Smith

Oh well at least im not an alone pissed girl.
------------------

I know just how you both feel! I've always worn kercheifs in my hair, ever since freshman year when all the prep bitches at my school said i looked like a housewife or something, Now everybpody wears them!
Also I dyed my hair red for my halloween costume this year (I dressed up as Ajax from Sex & Violence, there are pics on the website), and I liked it, so I've kept the color. But now everyone is like "Oh everybody dyes their hair red, it's so trendy".
Grr.
------------------

yea.. but that's how trends start sadly
us freaks find something really funky that suits our style and personality and then everyone just copies it..
faery wings, studded dog collars, tacky bangles..

You know what's *really* trendy? Having a Keen comic and then dropping it suddenly like a hot rock, completely without announcement or explanation. I think that's a game that we all like to play! :D
